Abstract

Technological developments along with advances in biological and medical sciences have been a key contributor to the birth of modern medicine. These developments have led to a better understanding of the pathophysiology of many common diseases and, therefore, to the production of scientific studies and effective medicines by the universities and pharmaceutical industries.
